The medium sized chalet style rooms have stone flooring and whitewashed walls. Furniture is of a reasonable standard, as is the decoration. The new area comprises of six new accommodation wings which are adequately equipped and furnished. The original restaurant is situated in a circular stone building and is traditionally furnished in wood. Cuisine is of a very good standard. The hotel consists of an old traditional and a new modern area. The old traditional area comprises of a stone built reception, a circular restaurant and several bedrooms 'chalets'. The lobby has recently increased in size and offers several comfortable seating areas. It has marble flooring and whitewashed walls. St. Catherine is famous for its monastry. 0608 mw
